World Premier of “A Bag of Make Believe”

Well after 2 very long days and only a few short hours of sleep a night, I’ve gotten about 6 hours total since Friday, here is the film that we have been working on. Please PLEASE let me know what you think of it by posting comments on this blog. We want any and all feedback, both good, bad, and neutral. Some feedback that we are looking for:

Does the film make sense? If yes, what works and helps you understand the story. If no, what doesn’t make sense?
Does the film look believable?
How does it look visually? What could be improved?

Thanks in advance!

They Are Burning!

Well we did it! We are burning our disks as I type this! We have 22 min till it’s time to turn them in. Here are some pics of the editing.

By the way, I will be posting a full in-depth blog about the whole weekend along with a behind the scenes video once we get that put together.

Enjoy these pictures!

Day 2! 9 Hours Remaining!

Well we are all, Mike, Chris, Zack, and I, sitting at Mike’s all working on the editing. Mike is currently laying the timeline out for our second draft edit, I am currently working on some fixes (Name tag on our actress does not match the name that was being said in the script so I have to do some motion tracking and overlaying to change the name on the name tag. My brother just arrived and is currently working on an original score for our movie. Things are coming together! Just need to get our final layout and then color correcting!

Oh and Zack is working on coming up with a title for our movie and then will be shooting some behind the scenes stuff.

STAY TUNED!

Let The Editing Begin!

Well after a very long day of shooting, we are finally back in our editing studio and beginning the rough edit for our film. We are going to be up until we have a rough cut of the film put together. Hopefully that doesn’t take TOO long but we will see. We have pizza coming, energy drinks in the fridge, and we are all extremely excited to see all of our shots on the computer. Both Mike and I and the rest of the crew are all really really happy with our shots that we got today and think we will be upping the production aspect of the 48 Hour Film Festival for future years to come. We used very stylish and elaberate camera work along with a nice series of lenses to create a dramatic and dynamic look to our film that non of us have seen before. Now we just have to put everything together in post and get it turned in on time. If we, actually WHEN we get our rough cut together we are sending it over to my brother, Chris Lambeth with SpinCycle Entertainment, he will be making an original score for our film. I can’t wait to see the final project! Here are some pictures from today.

Check back tomorrow for more updates!

Final Shot!!!

We just rolled up to our final location! One shot to go! Picture of the shoot and more details later tonight. Here’s one picture of our camera though for you all.

Finally Got Everything!

We finally have our whole crew put together! Shooting starts in 2 hours!

35 Hours Remaining!

Well the script is done. Got home around 2:30 last night after writing the script/screenplay. Now we are shooting all day today. We are still trying to secure our location for the diner scene but we are meeting at Dolly’s Cafe here in Spokane to find out if we can shoot there. If not we are going to try to shoot at the Harvester Cafe in Spangle WA. Until then we are going to be shooting our other 2 scenes in our short movie.

Things are coming along! Stay tuned!
